View from a headteacher

Here's what Kings School headteacher Mrs Lawrence thinks of the project....

"The Governors, staff, pupils and I are extremely proud to be able to support Lizzie’s selling of pink roses in aid of Breast Cancer Research.

Not only is the idea enterprising and entrepreneurial but it also raises awareness amongst the school community of just how close each of us is to someone suffering from the disease.

I am extremely grateful to ITV Fixers and to John Lewis for their support in this campaign.

I am also full of admiration for Lizzie and humbled by her strength in the face of her own adversity.  She is a shining example to us all and a beacon of hope, grit and determination.

We feel very privileged to be able to play a small part in her campaign."
